Mark Resseguie and his wife Marty were married in 1992. They are raising five children: Mitch, Rachel, Graham, Tanner and Chase.

Mark was born in Lincoln, Nebraska and has been a lifetime resident. Marty was born and raised in Omaha. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree and Endorsement in Special Education from the University of Nebraska. She taught school for 15 years. Marty is now a "stay-at-home-Mom" and Mark's consultant.

Mark won his first award for the design and construction of a model home in a citywide high school contest sponsored by the Lincoln Board of Realtors. He also designed a major addition to a clubhouse/restaurant for a local golf course while attending high school.

Mark graduated from Lincoln Southeast High School with honors in architecture.

Learning continued with Architectural Design at Southeast Community College in Milford, Nebraska. Upon graduating and receiving an Associate Degree, his architectural education continued at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. While attending UNL, he was an active member of the Air Force ROTC program and acquired his private pilot license and instrument rating. Mark also designed and built his first custom home during his last semester of college.

In 1987 & 1988, KLIN Radio Station, in conjunction with St. Elizabeth Hospital Auxiliary, selected Mark/Innovative Homes and Design, Inc. to design and build a custom home. This showcase "Holiday House" was used to raise funds to purchase equipment for the children's ward at the hospital. The event was so successful that Mark was asked to design and build another "Holiday House" for the next Christmas season.

Mark has coached baseball and basketball for the YMCA children's league for five years. He currently coaches Little Chiefs Junior League baseball. His support of YMCA Little Chiefs continues through annual sponsorship of a baseball team.

Mark and his family attend the Cathedral of the Risen Christ.

Additionally, he and his family enjoy gardening, riding bicycles, swimming, and racing go-karts.
