“Above and beyond expectations.”

When you drive onto a block or circle, the home built by Mark and Innovative Homes is obvious immediately.  It’s just a more beautiful home.  Mark’s homes have a signature elegant look to them we found totally unique among builders.

In addition to an overall look we love, Mark is excellent at the little things.  Whether it’s a design detail, taking extra time to talk or meet on what some might consider a trivial matter, returning a phone call, staying in constant communication, personally overseeing all details and work — these kinds of things… made the difference between a stressful experience and a great one.  Mark has also taken awesome care of us well after the home was finished, coming back to do the anticipated and also unanticipated things long after the fact.  Mark even does pretty well as a mediator in the “spousal differences” that go with building a home, which is an art in itself!  He treats us like genuine friends, and builds one heck of a great home.

“Everything we wanted and more.”

Our home was creatively designed to accommodate active family living — yet with elegant, unique features that always draw compliments the moment someone steps through our front door.  Mark’s reputation of quality and his design talents were definite drawing points for us.  End result?  We have a home that everyone enjoys spending time in!

“Finest builder in Lincoln.”

I purchased my first home from Mark Resseguie and Innovative Homes in 1995.  I frequently receive compliments on the design and the architectural uniqueness.  Mark has undeniably stood behind his commitment to the homeowner.  Mark’s workmanship, attention to detail and perfectionistic creativity have made him one of the finest builders in the city of Lincoln.  I could not be happier.

“Extremely accommodating”

While planning this remodel, I had collected dozens of pictures and ideas.  Mark not only understood my design vision, he also helped me to understand the specifics and details that made it my dream kitchen. As we got further into the remodel, there were times we needed to change our plan.  For example, once we had our upper cabinets installed, I realized because I’m only 5′ 2″ I wanted there to be more detail on the underside of the cabinets.  Mark worked with our custom cabinet maker to come up with a fantastic solution. The contractors that Mark hired were great. They did amazing work, and I always felt comfortable having them work in my home.

I wanted to be involved in every decision of this remodel, so that I knew it would my vision.  Mark understood and appreciated that.  He always reached out to me before making a decision, though I almost always agreed with his ideas.

We were referred to Mark by our realtors who assured us he was the best.  As soon as we met with him, we knew we had found our contractor.  His portfolio, while incredible, didn’t perfectly fit our style, but it was easy to see that he understood us and what we were hoping for.  We’re so glad we went with Mark.

Mark was always precise.  He did things the right way, and always explained how and why he was doing what he was doing.

We have an old house.  Mark respected the character of the home and built us a kitchen that is modern, functional, and fits perfectly.

Mark helped up dream up details like a hidden cutting board, and storage for shoes, hats, and mittens.

We knew we wanted a paneled fridge, but we were tempted to cut corners.  After studying my pictures, Mark knew it was what I wanted and it would keep our small kitchen feeling open.  It was the right decision.  Everyone comments on it.
